Nigerian singer and songwriter Tems has been announced as one of the headliners for the 2025 Dreamville Festival, making her the only African act to top the bill at this year’s event.

The festival, curated by J. Cole’s Dreamville Records, will take place on April 5–6, 2025, at Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Tems will share the spotlight with global music heavyweights inculding J. Cole, Lil Wayne, 21 Savage, and Erykah Badu, reinforcing her growing influence on the international music scene.

The Grammy-winning artiste, known for hits like Free Mind, Higher, and Essence, has continuously broken barriers, securing collaborations with Drake, Future, Beyoncé, and Rihanna while redefining the reach of Afrobeats and alternative R&B.

Tems’ headlining slot at Dreamville Festival 2025 marks a significant moment for African music, as she joins the ranks of globally celebrated artists commanding major festival stages.

Her inclusion highlights the increasing dominance of Afrobeats and African talent on the world stage, following in the footsteps of artists like Burna Boy and Wizkid, who have also headlined major international festivals.

The festival lineup also features Coco Jones, GloRilla, JID, Wale, and BigXthaPlug, among others, promising a blend of hip-hop, R&B, and soul performances. Tems’ set is expected to be a standout moment, bringing her signature ethereal sound and powerful vocals to one of the biggest stages in the U.S.

With tickets already on sale at dreamvillefest.com, fans worldwide are looking forward to seeing Tems make history at Dreamville Festival 2025, further solidifying her place as one of Africa’s most successful global music exports.
