There was a brief spectacle at the grand celebration of Richard Nii Armah Quaye’s 40th birthday at the Independence Square between Ghanaian rap icon Sarkodie and his fellow artiste, Edem.
As Sarkodie made his way to the stage surrounded by his entourage, Edem attempted to get his attention.
However, before any interaction could take place, a member of Sarkodie’s security team intervened, blocking Edem and prevented a direct contact.

The moment, which lasted only a few seconds, did not escalate as the security personnel continued moving while ensuring Sarkodie was undisturbed.

Blessed Sunday, children of God.” The post, which references the Bible verse about divine provision, has sparked discussions online, with some Sarkodie fans speculating about its deeper meaning in relation to the incident.
While the encounter at the birthday party may have been a fleeting misunderstanding, the reaction online suggests that it has added a layer of intrigue to the relationship between the two artists.
