Kwan Pa, Adaha Dance Band, others to thrill at Channel One TV/Citi FM’s Food Festival

Citi FM and Channel One TV are set to host the “Back to Your Village Food Festival” on Saturday, March 29, and Sunday, March 30, 2025, at the Accra Metropolitan Assembly.

This two-day event promises an immersive experience into Ghana’s rich culinary heritage, featuring performances from renowned musical acts.​

Attendees can look forward to a diverse lineup of artists, including the Adaha Dance Band, Kwan Pa, Naa Dromo, Just Groove Band, the National Dance Ensemble, and Edzordzinam Fafafli Borborbor.

These performers will showcase a variety of musical genres such as reggae, high-life, soul music, ragga, traditional songs, and hiplife.​

The Adaha Dance Band is set to captivate the audience with their dynamic dance routines, encouraging attendees to join in the festivities.

Kwan Pa will deliver an energetic set designed to keep the crowd engaged and entertained.

Dromo Naa aims to evoke nostalgia with traditional songs that resonate with Ghana’s cultural roots.

​Just Groove Band is set to deliver captivating performances that will immerse patrons in an unforgettable musical experience. Known for their dynamic and engaging shows, the band promises to create an atmosphere filled with rhythm and energy, ensuring attendees are thoroughly entertained.

The National Dance Ensemble promises electrifying performances, while Edzordzinam Fafali Borborbor will ensure that participants remain on their feet throughout the event.​

From the northern regions’ Tuo Zaafi (TZ) and Dawadawa soup to the Volta Region’s Akple with Fetri Detsi, every major ethnic group’s cuisine will be showcased, giving attendees a rare chance to sample delicacies that they may not typically find in their daily lives.
