Ghanaian actress and TV host, Nana Ama McBrown, has disclosed plans to retire at age 50, transition into farming, and establish a food business as part of her post-career ventures.
In an interview with Diva Doc Let’s Talk Podcast, McBrown shared that she intends to slow down once she reaches 50 years and explore new business opportunities beyond entertainment.
“Since I plan to slow down at 50, I need something in the market aside from farming. I want to get into the food business,” she explained.
As a well-known brand ambassador, she emphasized her desire to reduce public engagements and embrace a more peaceful lifestyle.
Already involved in farming, McBrown disclosed that her food business is part of a broader retirement plan she has already set in motion.
“I’ve started farming, and I want to build something on my farm. People can visit, relax, and later pick fresh produce,” she added.
She envisions welcoming guests to her farm, where they can unwind in a comfortable space before enjoying a firsthand farm experience.
“So at 50, I want you to visit my farm. There will be a building where we can chill in the air conditioning before heading out to pick some okra,” she said.
