Self-styled activist and serial caller Frank Kwaku Appiah, popularly known as Appiah Stadium, has declared that Richard Nii-Armah Quaye, founder of Bills Micro Credit, surpasses Ghana’s two leading political parties, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC), in significance.
In a viral video spotted by Ghanaweekend, Appiah Stadium is seen seated with the Ghanaian businessman, legs crossed, as they shake hands.
Throughout the interaction, Appiah Stadium showered praises on Quaye, expressing his admiration and respect.
“I am honoured to meet you—a poor man like me. You organised a grand birthday party with dignitaries and celebrities from across Africa and globally in attendance. It was through that I met Davido, and he even mentioned my name.
“You are bigger than NPP and NDC. Any political party that attempts to sabotage you will be disgraced. Aside from you, the only rich man I have shaken hands with is Ibrahim Mahama.”
He continued, “I am a die-hard supporter of President [John Dramani] Mahama. You and Ibrahim Mahama are second in my heart. Despite your wealth, you are humble; not all rich people are like that. Just see how I am sitting here cross-legged with you. At this point, even when you meet your enemy, don’t make them your enemy. May God bless you; you are a big man. Despite your high status, you still relate to me humbly.”
Richard Nii-Armah Quaye was in the Ashanti Region to visit the victims of the Adum PZ fire, where he donated 1,000 bags of cement and GH₵500,000 to aid in their recovery efforts.
