Ghanaian singer Amaarae is set to perform at this year’s Coachella on Sunday.
The artiste is on the bill with others such as Rema, Tyla, and other African artistes, bringing her genre-blending mix of Afrobeats, R&B, and alternative pop to one of the world’s most iconic stages.
The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, held annually at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, is a cultural juggernaut.
Since its inception in 1999, it has grown from a fledgling desert concert to a global phenomenon, drawing hundreds of thousands of fans across two weekends to witness performances from music’s biggest names.
Known for its eclectic lineups, jaw-dropping art installations, and trendsetting fashion, Coachella has become a bucket-list event, with the 2025’s edition, running April 11-13 and 18-20, featuring heavyweights like Post Malone, Lady Gaga, and Megan Thee Stallion alongside rising stars like Amaarae.
On Sunday, April 13, at 5:00 p.m., Amaarae will take the Gobi Tent stage to perform, making her the only Ghanaian to perform at Coachella this year.
