Ghanaian socialite Andrea Owusu, popularly known as Efia Odo, has shared her thoughts on the ongoing conversation around body enhancement among women, stating that such procedures do not resolve deep-seated insecurities.
She emphasised the importance of spiritual grounding and urged women to seek their worth in Jesus Christ instead of altering their physical appearance, as true confidence doesn’t come from outward changes.
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Efia Odo encouraged women to build inner validation through a connection with Christ rather than turning to cosmetic procedures for self-esteem.
She wrote, “Plastic surgery doesn’t fix insecurities. You must be self-validated within. Nothing outside of you can save you apart from being in Christ, because that’s your true self. Christ is not a religion; it’s one’s true self.”
