A level 100 student at the University of Education, Winneba, has reportedly died by suicide after allegedly discovering that his partner had been unfaithful.
The tragic incident occurred on Wednesday, April 16, when the student is said to have taken his own life by hanging.
According to eyewitness accounts, the young man collapsed after unexpectedly finding his girlfriend in an intimate situation with another person at GUSSS Hall Two, a residence on campus.
The emotional distress from the discovery is believed to have contributed to his decision.
The body has since been taken into the custody of the Winneba Police for further investigation.
