Afua Aduonom has expressed her shock over the sudden passing of influencer and female carpenter, Ama Endorsed.

Her untimely death has left many in disbelief, including her close friends and colleagues.

In an exclusive interview with GhanaWeekend, Afua Aduonom shared her emotional response to the news.

“We all started as pageantry contestants, and she was there during my first attempt at the Singathon. She would’ve been there for my second attempt if not for her work commitments,” Afua recalled.

Ama, known as “The Female Carpenter,” was not only a talented influencer but also a skilled artisan.

She inherited her father’s carpentry business, a legacy she took great pride in.

“She was very close to her father and took on his legacy when he passed,” Afua explained. “It’s one of the reasons why she became known as ‘The Female Carpenter.’”

Afua and Ama had been close friends for years, and the news of Ama’s passing has been difficult for her to accept.

“We were good friends up until her passing, and I still can’t believe she’s gone,” Afua continued. “Ama was actually supposed to fix our wardrobe in our new apartment before this sudden event occurred. It just doesn’t seem real.

While there are rumours circulating about her death, particularly the claim of slow poisoning, Afua is firm in her belief that there is no truth to these allegations.

“I don’t believe the slow poison story. She was surrounded by close family and friends and everything seemed fine. It wasn’t the kind of setting where something like that could have happened,” Afua stated. “Not to say I don’t believe in human fallibility, but this just doesn’t add up for me. I’m not even blood but if I feel this way, imagine how her sister feels. I believe she’ll continue Ama’s legacy.”

The loss of Ama Endorsed has shocked her friends, fans, and those who knew her for her unique blend of creativity and dedication to her craft. Afua concluded by honouring Ama’s memory: “She was a rare soul, and she’ll be deeply missed.”
