The one-week observation for Elizabeth Ngissah, the late mother of acclaimed actress Roselyn Ngissah, took place on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Patty’s Event Center in East Legon.

The solemn gathering drew a significant turnout from the entertainment industry, with actors, actresses, and gospel musicians uniting to mourn and support Roselyn, her father, sibling, and the extended Ngissah family.

Prominent figures from Kumawood and Ghallywood showcased the industry’s solidarity.

Notable attendees included John Dumelo, Selassie Ibrahim, Salma Mumin, Nadia Buari, Nana Ama McBrown, Vivian Jill Lawrence, Gloria Sarfo and Nikki Samonas.

Others were James Gardiner, Kobby Rana, Kalsoume Sinare, Martha Ankomah, Kafui Danku, Kofi Adjorlolo, Vicky Zugah, Zynnell Zuh, Christiana Awuni, and Big Akwes, among others.

Despite the grief, the atmosphere was warmed by the presence of colleagues and friends offering condolences.

Gospel musicians, including Diana Hamilton, Obaapa Christy, and Celestine Donkor, who attended with her husband, joined others from the gospel community to uplift the bereaved family.

The event reflected deep camaraderie, with industry peers sharing memories and comforting the Ngissah family.

The final funeral rites for Madam Elizabeth Ngissah are scheduled for Saturday, August 16, 2025, with further details to be announced in the coming weeks.
