Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central, A Plus, has responded sharply to the Attorney General Dr Dominic Ayine’s challenge to provide evidence over alleged bribery claims.
A Plus had alleged that Dr Ayine was a thief and corrupt person following which the AG at a presser on Wednesday urged him to provide evidence to back his claims.
In a Facebook post, A Plus refuted the AG’s account, insisting his comments were based on credible information he had received.
“No! That is not true. What I said was, according to my information, you went to beg for 500,000 cedis to bribe the Appointments Committee of Parliament,” he wrote. “And for your information, you are not the only one. If you are an old fool, I’ll reset your brain. Stupid man!”
His fiery response has stirred fresh debate online, with some questioning whether his remarks reflect bold truth-telling or mere bluster without proof.
