Thousands of worshippers have gathered at the Oil Dome, Royal House Chapel in Accra for the much-anticipated 2025 Family Consecration Service, a spiritually charged event organised by Channel One TV and Citi FM to mark the beginning of May with prayer, praise, and reflection.

The annual event, which has become a cornerstone of the media house’s faith-based initiatives, brought together families, individuals, and church leaders from various denominations for a morning of thanksgiving and intercession.

Attendees are engaging in heartfelt worship, powerful prayers, and scriptural exhortations led by a lineup of seasoned ministers.

The General Superintendent of Assemblies of God Ghana, Rev Stephen Yenusom Wengam, along with a team of seasoned ministers, including Rev Mawuli Tsikata, Rev Mawuli Benson, Rev Michael Noagbewonu, Rev Nelson Awintia, and Rev Fred MccDavis are leading the six hour session.

Ahead of the event, Rev Wengam, encouraged Ghanaians to fully participate in the service, highlighting the importance of prayer for families.

“At this point, what can you do for your family other than to intercede for them?” he asked, stressing the need for spiritual reflection and support in difficult times.
