Health tips: Seven fruit combinations that can be dangerous

Did you know that you should not eat some fruits with certain foods?

Combining some fruits can create compatibility issues, impact digestion and overall health.

Therefore, it is important to understand that some fruits should not be consumed with other foods.

True, having a lot of fruits and vegetables together is very healthy. Fruits and vegetables are definitely beneficial for children, but it is always best to keep a tab on the compatibility of the kind of fruits they eat, especially when they are eating a combination of fruits.

Mixing different types of fruits and vegetables is not only unhealthy, it may put you and your child in great danger.

Here are the foods you must never mix:

1. Orange with carrot

Mixing carrots and oranges can be very dangerous. This mix has been known to cause heartburn and kidney damage.

2. Papaya and lemon

Papaya and lemon is a deadly combination that can cause anemia and hemoglobin imbalance, and is highly dangerous for children.

3. Orange and milk

Consuming a mixture of milk and orange, will be very hard for digestion, causing numerous health issues.

The acid in orange will destroy the enzymes that are responsible for digesting the starch present in the cereal.

If you choose to add orange in your milk cereal, you are going to increase the risk of indigestion.

4. Guava and banana

Eating this combination will increase your risk of acidosis, nausea, gas buildup and persistent headaches.

5. Vegetables and fruits

Fruits and veggies should never be mixed together.

Fruits have more sugar content and are difficult to digest.

As they stay in your stomach for a longer period while the fruits ferments and produces toxins which could cause diarrhea, headcahes, infections and stomach pain.

6. Pineapple and milk

A compound, bromelain, in pineapple when mixed with milk causes a series of problems to your body such as stomach gas, nausea, infections, headache, and stomach pain.

7. Banana and pudding

The combination of banana and pudding is difficult to digest and will stimulate toxin production in the body, which may be dangerous for children.
