Reports claiming that Suzzy Pinamang, the form two student at the Adventist Senior School who was accidentally shot in the eye has successfully undergone eye surgery are false, Rafik Mahama, aide to philanthropist Ibrahim Mahama has said.
Following her transfer to the UK for medical treatment few days by the help of Ibrahim Mahama, rumours are circulating that she has regained her sight.
Mahama confirmed via Facebook that Suzzy has not yet had the surgery.
In his post, Rafik stated, “The medical procedure towards recovery for Suzzy Pinamang has just begun in the UK. She has not yet undergone surgery. We remain optimistic and confident that the surgery will be successful.”
He emphasised that updates will be provided following any significant developments.
