Kelvin Ananzo, popularly known as Washing Bay Promoter, says his song promotion career reached new heights when he began promoting Nigerian music.
He works as a washing bay attendant in Nzema and is often seen promoting songs while on the job.
Ananzo has helped promote music from popular artists such as King Paluta, Stonebwoy, Black Sherif, and Nigerian star Davido.
He recently went viral after Davido promised to give him $5,000 for promoting his new song “With You” from the *5ive* album.
Speaking to Ghana Weekend’s Jeffrey Fiifi Annan, Ananzo shared some of the challenges he faced early in his promotion career.
He said, “I realised I could make an impact with my craft was when I started promoting Nigerian songs,” adding that “Nigerians are very supportive.”
