Ghanaian producer and DJ, GuiltyBeatz, has shared the story of how he first connected with Nigerian music sensation Tems.
In an interview on Channel One TV, the acclaimed producer revealed that their professional relationship began in 2021, thanks to a mutual connection.
“I met Tems in 2021 through her manager, Wale,” GuiltyBeatz said. “He came to listen to my production on King Promise’s 5 Star album and introduced me to Tems.”
That introduction marked the beginning of a strong creative partnership. GuiltyBeatz went on to produce Me & U, which became the first track he crafted for Tems.
“Me & U was the first song I created for Tems, and ever since, we’ve been together,” he added, referring to their ongoing collaboration.
The duo’s chemistry in the studio has played a role in Tems’ evolving sound, with GuiltyBeatz’s signature production style complementing her soulful vocals. As both artistes continue to rise on the global stage.
