In a powerful move toward shaping a new kind of future for education in Ghana, Enseigne and Melbot Academy have officially launched a partnership to provide hands-on, transformative tech learning experiences for pre-teen and teenages in Ghana.

At its core, this partnership is about access and opportunity, about creating space for the kind of learning that goes beyond the classroom and into real life.

A Shared Vision for Youth Innovation

When Enseigne was founded, the mission was clear: to reimagine learning for young people in Africa by focusing on coding, entrepreneurship, global exposure, and creativity.

Melbot Academy, a dynamic STEAM-based education organisation, has been doing similar work through robotics, Arts and Craft, Music and Instruments and problem-solving programmes. This partnership brings both missions together.

Together, Enseigne and Melbot Academy will run programmes designed to unlock the creative and technical potential of learners aged seven to 17. These include after-school coding classes, AI and entrepreneurship workshops, design and storytelling labs, and future-ready bootcamps.

Through these programmes, students will learn how to code, build projects, collaborate in teams, and gain the confidence to solve real-world problems.

A Launch that Set the Tone

The soft launch event wasn’t just a formality, it was an experience. Students got a first-hand feel of the learning style, parents saw the value of practical tech education, and both teams shared their collective excitement about what’s ahead. It wasn’t just about what was said on stage, but what was felt in the room: the buzz of possibility.

One of the parents at the event noted, “This is exactly what we’ve been looking for, something that goes beyond school, something that prepares our kids for the real world.”

The Enseigne team introduced their vision of future-focused learning: not just teaching children how to use technology but how to create with it. Melbot Academy showcased their experience with hands-on projects, and creative STEAM challenges.

What This Means for Students

This partnership is designed to provide more than just classes. It offers mentorship, access to global conversations, and a place where students can explore who they are and who they want to become. With a growing list of international opportunities, including hackathons, study exchange programs, and global competitions, students at Enseigne will now have even more pathways to thrive.

Importantly, the programmes are designed to be inclusive. Students of all skill levels and backgrounds will be welcomed, guided, and empowered to build at their own pace.

Looking Ahead

With this partnership, both Enseigne and Melbot Academy are planting seeds of leadership, confidence, and purpose.

The collaboration will see Enseigne lead the development of a cutting-edge curriculum centered on emerging technologies like AI, robotics, coding, and entrepreneurship, with Melbot Academy contributing through its deep expertise in STEAM education.

Together, they will host joint learning experiences, mentorship sessions, and innovation challenges that expose students to the future of work. Enseigne will drive efforts to ensure these opportunities reach underserved communities, creating access to world-class, future-focused tech education for students who’ve often been left out of such conversations.

“This is more than a partnership, it’s a shared responsibility to the next generation,” says Josephine Siaw-Agyemang, founder of Enseigne. “We’re not just building skills. We’re building futures.”

As Ghana’s tech and innovation ecosystem continues to evolve, this partnership represents what’s possible when like-minded changemakers come together with a heart for youth.
