Moliy urges positive reporting on achievements without comparisons

Ghanaian songstress Moliy has urged fans and media to share her latest achievements without suggesting she has “displaced” or “surpassed” other artistes.
In an X post on June 3, 2025, she expressed gratitude for the support while emphasising a positive approach.
“I really think y’all can report new Moliy stats without adding she’s ’displacing’ or ‘surpassing’ anyone, I would prefer it that way, please ? I’m not reposting those that have those terms, I do appreciate your support but let’s do this the right positive way,” she said.
The rising star, currently making waves with her infectious hit “Shake it to the Max,” stressed that her milestones, such as streaming numbers or chart rankings, should be celebrated independently, without comparisons to her peers.
Moliy’s request reflects her commitment to fostering unity in the music industry, a theme consistent with her empowering lyrics and Afrofusion sound, which gained global attention through collaborations like Amaarae’s “Sad Girlz Luv Money.”
