The University of Ghana’s Pent Hall Week celebration was brought to an exciting close on Saturday, June 7, 2025, with thrilling performances from top artistes including Stonebwoy, Mayorkun, RJZ, and Kweku Smoke.

The week-long celebration, which kicked off on June 1, 2025, featured a vibrant lineup of activities that blended entertainment, education, and community engagement.

The launch day opened with a powerful gospel rock show, featuring celebrated ministers such as MOG Music, Edem Evangelist, Louis Pascal, and Minister Shadrach, who led students in worship and praise.

Day two focused on social impact and digital engagement with a clean-up exercise, GirlCode session aimed at empowering young women in tech, and an interactive event titled Chat with Influencers, where students connected with notable personalities in media and lifestyle.

The third day, themed Industry Day, included a health screening and donation drive, highlighting the hall’s commitment to community service.

Day four kept the excitement high with a cooking competition, a “Pent Game Zone” featuring video and board games, and a movie night under the stars.

Sporting activities took center stage on the fifth day with basketball and football competitions, followed by the vibrant “Rep Your Jersey” event where students showed off their team spirit and love for various sports clubs.

On the sixth day, an Islamic dialogue was held, creating space for interfaith discussions. Later that evening, the “Oldies Night” drew crowds with nostalgic music and a lively jam session that had many dancing late into the night.

The final day began with a fitness session and culminated in the much-anticipated Artiste Night.

Students and guests filled the venue to witness high-energy performances from top-tier Ghanaian and Nigerian musicians, creating an unforgettable climax to the festivities.

Throughout the celebration, vendors set up around the campus, showcasing and selling a variety of items including food, clothing, accessories, and crafts—adding a marketplace feel to the event.

Pent Hall Week 2025 drew massive participation from students and visitors alike, making it one of the memorable editions.
