Acclaimed bassist, music director, and producer Opoku Sanaa has been honored as Instrumentalist of the Year at the prestigious Telecel Ghana Music Awards (26th Edition).

He has collaborated with leading Ghanaian artistes including Joe Mettle, Diana Hamilton, Nacee & No Tribe, Joyful Way, Cwesi Oteng, D-Black, and DJ Breezy.
Beyond performance and production, Sanaa has contributed significantly to music education and capacity-building. From 2011 to 2016, he led the Bass Clinic Music Seminar, a pioneering initiative that mentored and trained the next generation of musicians across Ghana and West Africa.
