Ghanaian singer Amaarae will perform at the Afro Nation Portugal 2025, marking the festival’s fifth anniversary from July 9 to 11 in Portimão, Algarve.
Afro Nation announced the news via a vibrant new flyer. Joining an impressive lineup of global stars, Amaarae will share the stage with headliners like Chris Brown, Burna Boy, Tems, Davido, Booba, and Mary J. Blige, cementing the event’s status as a celebration of African music and culture.
Set against the stunning Praia da Rocha beach, the festival will feature a diverse roster across multiple stages, including the Lit Stage and Piano People Stage. Other notable acts include Dexta Daps, Franglish, Gabzy, Innoss’B, Joe Dwet Filé, June Freedom, Vigro Deep, and Young Stunna, among others—promising a rich tapestry of Afrobeats, amapiano, and R\&B.
Amaarae, celebrated for her genre-defying hits like “Sad Girlz Luv Money,” will bring her unique fusion of Afrobeats and pop to an eagerly awaiting international audience.
