Fella Makafui features ex-husband Medikal in upcoming film ‘Serwaa’

Ghanaian actress and producer Fella Makafui is set to premiere her latest movie project, Serwaa, featuring her ex-husband, rapper Medikal.

The film which also features a cameo appearance by dancehall star Shatta Wale, will debut on the Farmhouse Production YouTube channel on June 27.

This marks the first major collaboration between Fella and Medikal since their widely publicised divorce earlier this year, sparking interest and anticipation among fans and followers of Ghana’s entertainment scene.

Fella shared a teaser of the film on her Instagram page with the caption, “2 days more to go,” giving fans a glimpse into what promises to be a compelling story filled with drama.

Produced in partnership with Farmhouse Productions, Serwaa explores themes of love, identity, and resilience, and is expected to resonate with audiences across the country.

The film is set to premiere on June 27, 2025, and will be available for free streaming on the Farmhouse Productions YouTube channel. With its star-studded cast and emotional backstory, Serwaa is already generating major buzz and is poised to become a standout in Ghana’s growing film industry.
