DJ Azonto’s management, Rolls Royce Family, has issued a demand for $100 million in compensation, citing the unauthorised use of the artiste’s signature phrase “Alla” in Medikal’s hit single “Shoulder,” featuring Shatta Wale and Beatztrap KOTM.

In a statement, the team emphasised that “Alla,” part of DJ Azonto’s iconic slogan “Alla Woyo,” is central to his brand, performances, and fanbase.

They labelled its use in “Shoulder” without permission or credit as “an infringement of intellectual property and brand identity.”

In addition to the $100 million, the Rolls Royce Family is requesting diamond chains and other items to resolve the issue amicably.

They warned that failure to comply could lead to legal action, stating, “Intellectual property is not free to use, especially in an industry where originality defines success.”

See the full statement below.
