Former Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan says he’s finally ready to speak out after years of silence, teasing what he calls a long-overdue moment of truth.
In a widely shared video on social media, the 38 year old football icon warned that those who have betrayed or misrepresented him should brace themselves.
“To those who’ve disrespected me, lied about me, and acted like friends while stabbing me in the back, your time is up. Come Friday, we face reality,” he declared.
Gyan suggested he has stayed quiet for too long, but will no longer hold back. “I let things slide in the past, but it ends now. If you think this is just noise, wait and see,” he added.
Although he didn’t mention anyone directly, speculation is rife that the message may be aimed at dancehall artiste Stonebwoy, who recently revealed Gyan had blocked him on social media, something he found deeply hurtful given their history.
