Award-winning Ghanaian rapper, Michael Owusu Addo, popularly known as Sarkodie, has received the blessing of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II the Asantehene ahead of this year’s Rapperholic Concert which is set to take place in Kumasi.
The music icon, accompanied by his management team, paid a courtesy visit to the Manhyia Palace on Thursday, July 18, 2025, to formally inform the King and seek his support for the highly anticipated event.
The visit marks a significant cultural endorsement for the annual concert, which has become a staple on Ghana’s entertainment calendar.
Hosting Rapperholic in Kumasi this year is part of Sarkodie’s broader efforts to bring his music and brand closer to fans across the country.
