Renowned Nollywood Actress and Producer, Mercy Johnson Okojie has called out Ghana-based Blazing TV for airing her new film, ‘The Firstborn’ without her approval.
The Filmmaker, who premiered the movie on July 18, took to Facebook to express her outrage after a fan alerted her with a photo showing the film being broadcast.
According to her, the station likely downloaded the movie from her YouTube channel.
“GHANA BLAZING TV. How is this even ok? … How does this even make sense? How?” she wrote.
Mercy becomes the second Nigerian actress to raise concerns about Ghanaian stations using her work without consent.
She has not yet announced any legal steps.
