Ghanaian highlife icon Kwabena Kwabena is commemorating 20 years since his debut album ‘Asor’ with a star-studded remix of the hit song and a global tour.
The remix, featuring top Ghanaian artists like Okyeame Kwame, aims to recapture the timeless quality of the 2004 original.
“Asor is huge, so if you want to touch it, you have to touch it well,” said manager Nana Poku Ashis on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz.
The project prioritises longevity over fleeting trends, ensuring a lasting tribute to the song that launched Kwabena Kwabena’s career.
The celebration extends beyond the remix, with a world tour kicking off in August 2025. Covering Africa, Europe, North America, and Australia, the tour will feature intimate performances to connect deeply with fans.
This milestone honours not only Asor but also Kwabena Kwabena’s enduring commitment to authentic, high-quality Ghanaian music.
