Ghanaian rap icon Sarkodie has officially announced that this year’s Rapperholic Homecoming Concert will be held at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on September 27, 2025.
The announcement follows his recent visit to the Manhyia Palace, where he met with Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II to formally inform him of the upcoming event and seek his royal blessing. During the visit, Otumfuo warmly affirmed his support and even expressed his intention to attend the concert, marking it as a truly historic occasion.
The Rapperholic Homecoming is set to be one of the biggest music events ever staged in Kumasi, bringing the celebrated annual concert to the heart of the Ashanti Region for the first time.
