Renowned Ghanaian actress and television presenter, Nana Ama McBrown has broken her silence on her recent absence from the spotlight.
During a surprise live zoom session on the Onua Showtime programme , the celebrated brand ambassador revealed that she underwent arm surgery to address persistent pain that had become increasingly difficult to manage.
According to her, the discomfort escalated to the point where she had to rely on painkillers to complete her shows, which led her to take time off for proper medical care.
“I was constantly in pain and had to rely on painkillers just to get through my shows. It became alarming,” she stated.
McBrown admitted that stepping away from work was a difficult decision, but one she had to make for the sake of her health. She assured her fans that she is focused on recovery and will return soon.
“I chose to undergo the surgery so I could return stronger,” she added.
