‘I’m grateful for every moment we’ve shared’ – Lordina tells Mahama on 33rd anniversary

First Lady Lordina Mahama, has penned a touching tribute to her husband, President John Dramani Mahama, as the couple celebrates 33 years of marriage.

In a Facebook post sighted by GhanaWeekend on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, Mrs. Mahama shared her deep appreciation and love for the President, reflecting on their journey together over the past three decades.

She wrote:
“My dearest John,
These past 33 years with you have been the most treasured moments of my life. It’s been years filled with love, laughter, and your unwavering support.
I’m grateful for every memory we’ve shared and every challenge we’ve faced together, and I look forward to many more wonderful years with you.
Happy anniversary to us, my love. ❤️”

The warm message has since drawn admiration from Ghanaians and followers, who flooded the comments with well-wishes for the First Couple.

Lordina and President Mahama, widely regarded as one of Ghana’s most admirable power couples, have built a legacy not just of leadership, but of love, loyalty, and enduring partnership. Their 33year journey together continues to inspire many across the country.
