Wendy Shay has paid a heartfelt tribute to the late highlife legend Daddy Lumba, following a visit to his family residence to commiserate and sign the book of condolence.
Speaking to GhanaWeekend after the visit on Wednesday July 30, Wendy shared how deeply the icon influenced her both musically and personally.
“He actually told me to stay humble no matter how far I go,” she recalled. “And that’s something I’ll always remember.”
Wendy also revealed that fans can expect a tribute song from her in honour of Daddy Lumba, whose legacy she says played a major role in shaping her career.
