Fire has gutted the Accra Tourist Information Centre, prompting a swift response from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS).
While the exact time of the incident is yet to be confirmed, a video shared on the Facebook page of the Director of Diaspora Affairs at the Office of the President, Kofi Okyere-Darko (KOD), shows thick plumes of smoke rising from the facility and visible panic among visitors and nearby workers.
The extent of the damage remains unclear at this time. However, personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service are on the scene working to bring the blaze under control.
