The Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts has inaugurated a new governing board for the National Theatre of Ghana, signaling renewed efforts to revamp the performing arts sector.
At a ceremony held in Accra on Monday August 4, Minister Abla Dzifa Gomashie emphasised the need for strategic leadership, transparency, and innovation in delivering on the institution’s mandates.
The new board of the National Theatre is chaired by renowned cultural advocate Korkor Amarteifio.
Minister Gomashie urged the board to revitalise the theatre space, making it more vibrant and accessible to both local and international audiences.
