The Eastern Regional branch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will tonight hold a candlelight vigil at the Koforidua Jackson Park in honour of the late Defence Minister, Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, and seven others who died in last Wednesday’s tragic helicopter crash.
A flyer sighted by Ghana Weekend confirms that all arrangements have been finalised for the solemn event, which is expected to draw party members, government officials, and sympathisers from across the region.
The vigil will feature tributes, prayers, and the lighting of candles in remembrance of the eight victims, celebrated as heroes for their service to the nation.
