Celebrated poet and writer, Philip Boakye Dua Oyinka, popularly known as Nana Asaase, has tied the knot with his partner, Alberta Annor.
The marriage took place on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at the W.E.B. Du Bois Memorial Centre in Accra.
Adorned in the calming hues of blue, white, and silver, the simple yet elegant ceremony was graced by notable personalities from Ghana’s cultural and media landscape.
Among the guests were former Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Mark Okraku Mantey, as well as renowned media figures including Kwasi Kyei Darkwah (KKD), Vivian Kai Lokko, Umaru Sanda Amadu, and Jimmy Quist.
Nana Asaase, a member of the National Folklore Board, is celebrated for his mastery of words but on this day, love wrote the most beautiful poem of all.
