Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has thanked his fans, management, and the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) after being released from custody on Thursday, August 21, 2025.

His release came after he met revised bail conditions. The original GH₵10 million bail was reduced to GH₵5 million, with two sureties. He must now report to EOCO three times a week as investigations continue into how he acquired a Lamborghini Urus.

In a video shared after his release, Shatta Wale showed appreciation for everyone who supported him.

“I want to say thank you to my management team… Everybody has been supportive with this and to you the fans, I owe you a beautiful concert one of these days because you guys have been supportive,” he said.

He also thanked fans who gathered at EOCO’s office during his detention.

“I heard some of you came there from morning and you didn’t want to leave but as you have seen my video you should know Shatta is safe, your king is safe, One Don is safe. I am home now and I want to say a big thank you for supporting me, for being around me in times like this because I needed you guys the most. You guys are the ones that hold me down,” he added.

Shatta Wale also praised EOCO staff for how they handled the process.

“To all the staff of EOCO, you guys have been wonderful. At least I came there, you guys really took me through the rightful processes that were needed and I just want to say God bless you,” he said.

He gave special thanks to EOCO boss Raymond Archer.

“To Mr. Raymond Archer, I just want to tell you I thank you so much for your understanding. I thank you so much for cooperating.”

EOCO is still investigating the ownership of Shatta Wale’s Lamborghini Urus. The agency claims he failed to prove he bought it legally. He said he got the car “from the street” through someone named “ZAK” on WhatsApp but has no official documents to support the purchase.

His release has been welcomed by fans, many of whom supported him throughout the investigation.
