Renowned Nigerian actress and filmmaker, Funke Akindele, has marked her 48th birthday with elegance and style.
On Sunday, August 24, 2025, Akindele took to her Facebook page to share stunning birthday photos and a creative celebratory video.
In the video, the award-winning filmmaker dazzled in a gorgeous green dress, posing in front of a wall adorned with a “48” balloon.
The visual was symbolic and playful: a pair of hands placed a crown on her head, another slid on her signature sunglasses, while a third handed her a lit candle, which she gently removed from her mouth and placed on the cake before blowing it out.
