Ghanaian R&B and afro-fusion singer, Jackline Acheampong popularly known as Gyakie has unveiled the official tracklist for her highly anticipated debut album, ‘AFTER MIDNIGHT,’ set for release this Friday August 29.

The album, a deeply personal body of work created in the stillness of the night, takes listeners on a journey through the myriad moods of the after-hours. From creativity to reflection, from love to celebration, AFTER MIDNIGHT is Gyakie’s most defining statement yet.

“Almost all the songs on this album were recorded after midnight. That’s when I feel most inspired, when my emotions and thoughts flow freely.

“I wanted this project to be a soundtrack to the experiences we all have when the world is quiet  the laughs, the tears, the prayers, the parties, and of course, the love,” Gyakie shares.

The official tracklist reveals a rich and versatile sonic palette, with Gyakie weaving soulful melodies, heartfelt lyrics, and irresistible rhythms across 17 tracks.

Adding to the magic of the album is a stellar lineup of features, creating a true convergence of cultures into one sound. With contributions from 6lack, Shatta Wale, Omar Sterling, Headie One, Young Jonn, and Kojey Radical, AFTER MIDNIGHT becomes more than just a personal diary, it is also a celebration of the universality of music and the power it holds in bringing people together. Each collaboration stretches beyond borders, infusing the project with diverse textures that speak to Gyakie’s global vision and the boundless reach of her artistry.

From late-night reflections to whispered prayers, from the warmth of love to the euphoria of after-hours celebrations, the album brings these worlds together in a seamless flow. With AFTER MIDNIGHT, Gyakie cements her place as one of Africa’s most exciting voices, delivering a debut album that is as intimate as it is expansive.

The wait is almost over. AFTER MIDNIGHT arrives this Friday, 29th August 2025.
