The Swedru Senior High School (SWESCO) vibe was lit in East London when the UK Alumni Chapter welcomed the Global President, Samuel Attah-Mensah, for an exciting engagement session at Mez Lounge.
With over 60 Swesconians from different year groups including a strong showing from the last 15 years, the event proved that the Swesco family spirit is alive, strong, and growing.

The night wasn’t just about catching up on old times. It was about vision, action, and ownership of our alma mater’s future.
Global President, Samuel Attah-Mensah gave updates on ongoing projects – from infrastructure upgrades to academic support initiatives and reminded everyone that the greatness of Swesco depends on what each of us is willing to put back in.

“Swesco’s greatness rests on our shoulders as alumni. Each of us has a role to play in building the school we dream of, and every contribution counts,” he said, urging the younger generation to step up and get involved.
Big shoutout to the UK Chapter Executives, led by President Piesie Alberta Eyeson, who pulled off an amazing event and are keeping the Swesco flame burning bright overseas. Alberta summed it all up perfectly: “We are glad about the renewed enthusiasm from the members of Swesco Alumni UK. Let’s carry this energy forward and get ready for the grand Christmas get-together.”
The message was clear: whether you left Swesco five, 10, or 15 years ago, your ideas, energy, networks, and contributions matter. The UK Chapter is showing what’s possible when alumni connect, and now the challenge is for every Swesconian, no matter where you are, to join in.

This is more than nostalgia. It’s about building something that future Swesco students will be proud of.
