The Citi FM and Channel One TV newsroom brought work-life balance to the fore on Friday, August 29, 2025, with a lively movie night held at the Channel One TV rooftop.
The initiative, spearheaded by the Head of News, Vivian Kai Lokko, and her deputy, Nana Tuffour Boateng, was designed to give the newsroom team a chance to bond and unwind after months of hard work.
Though primarily a newsroom gathering, staff from other departments also joined in, making the evening even more colorful. The rooftop was beautifully set up, with a warm ambiance complemented by an array of food and drinks.
The night featured not only a movie screening but also dance performances, karaoke sessions, and other engaging activities that kept the energy high throughout. Laughter, fun, and camaraderie defined the evening, as colleagues connected beyond their professional roles.
By the end of the event, it was evident that the objective had been achieved,staff left with smiles, renewed energy, and cherished memories from a night well spent.
