The Church of Pentecost has officially inaugurated its new Weija Area and held a special welcome service in honour of the Area Head, Apostle Isaac Amartey, his wife Mrs. Joyce Anim, and their family.
The ceremony took place on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Mandela Central in the new Weija District, drawing ministers, members, and guests from various areas.
The event, which began at 2:00 PM, was officiated by Apostle Isaac Nii Kotei Djani, Area Head of Tema, and conducted by Apostle James Kwabena Asare, Kasoa Area Head.
The service was held in two parts. The first included praise and worship, scripture reading, and a powerful word ministration by Apostle Kotei Djani.
Apostle Djani delivering the sermon based on Psalm 100:1-5 and John 6:1-6, urged believers to trust fully in God’s enduring love, even in trials, and to give their all in service to Him. “God is faithful,” he emphasised, “and those who depend on Him will reap bountifully.”
The service was filled with joyful music, powerful prayers, and a strong sense of unity as the church family celebrated this new chapter.
The Church of Pentecost continues to expand its mission across Ghana, and the inauguration of the Weija Area marks another significant step in strengthening its outreach and pastoral care.
PROFILE OF APOSTLE ISAAC AMARTEY ANIM
1. BIRTH
Apostle Isaac Amartey Anim was born into the Church and has faithfully served as a minister for the past 26 years with humility, passion and commitment.
2. EDUCATION
He obtained Masters in Theology and Missions (Leadership Option) from Akrofi Christaller Institute, Akropong Akuapem in 2017.
3. CONVERSION
He was baptized in the Holy Spirit in August, 1979, thus two years before he was baptized by immersion on 28th April, 1981.

He was called into the full time ministry in 1999 from Kasseh District in the Tema Area.
Called into the Pastorate in 2004.
Appointed Area Head in May, 2020 and called into Apostleship in May, 2022.
