Ghana’s multiple award-winning rapper, Sarkodie, will deliver the keynote address at the ‘Kumasi Rising Music, Media & Tourism Dialogue’ on Thursday, 25th September 2025, at the IDL Conference Hall, KNUST.
The dialogue forms part of the build-up to his highly anticipated Rapperholic Homecoming Concert slated for Saturday, 27th September at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
The event, themed “Kumasi Rising”, will bring together leading voices in governance, tourism, media and entertainment. Other notable speakers include the Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene; Deputy CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority, Abeiku Aggrey Santana; CEO of Event Factory Ghana, Nabil Alhassan; entertainment journalists Ebenezer Donkoh (NYDJ) and Ruthy Mummie De-Nelson; broadcaster Serwaa Amihere; and music producer Apya Musik.
The dialogue seeks to highlight the role of music and tourism in driving development in Kumasi and Ghana at large, while also providing a platform for industry stakeholders to share insights on collaboration and growth.
