GD Visionary Group has announced the postponement of the upcoming The Black Star Festival, initially scheduled for September 26–28, 2025.
The festival will now take place on October 25 & 26, 2025at the same venue in Washington, D.C.
In an official statement, the organizers noted that the decision, though unavoidable, was made to allow for the resolution of critical matters and to ensure the highest standards of delivery.
“This adjustment allows us to fully address important developments while preserving the integrity and excellence the festival stands for,” the statement read.

The Black Star Festival is a flagship celebration of Ghanaian heritage, cultural diplomacy, and Pan-African unity. Organizers emphasised that the rescheduled dates will enable the festival to fulfill its mission more effectively and deliver a memorable experience for all attendees.
