Veteran actress and filmmaker, Juliet Asante has hinted at a possible return to the screen after years away from acting.
In an exclusive interview with GhanaWeekend on September 25,2025, the former Chief Executive Officer of the National Film Authority(NFA) revealed that she has been taking time off to rest and reconnect with her passions.
“I haven’t stopped acting. Maybe I will come back to it. Right now, I am going back to the things I really used to love doing,” she said, adding that she has completed a new script and is preparing to work on her next film.
Juliet Asante, who has been instrumental in shaping Ghana’s film industry, noted that her comeback will be filled with projects she has long wanted to pursue but had put on hold.
Fans and industry watchers can expect major announcements soon as she sets the stage for what she describes as “fascinating things” in the months ahead.
