Ghanaian rapper Medikal has officially released his long-awaited album, “Disturbation 2,” marking a major milestone in his career and reaffirming his place as one of Ghana’s most consistent hitmakers.

The project, a follow-up to his 2017 debut Disturbation, showcases Medikal’s growth, maturity, and versatility over the years. Known for his witty punchlines, energetic delivery, and distinctive flow, the rapper once again blends rap, Afrobeats, and highlife-inspired rhythms to create a sound that bridges both local and global appeal.

“Disturbation 2” is a 17-track album featuring some of Ghana’s biggest stars, including Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, Olive The Boy, Lalid, and Beeztrap. The album’s soundscape is powered by top producers Atown TSB and Beat Vampire, who bring a rich, modern fusion of hip-hop and Afrobeats elements that complement Medikal’s lyrical style.

In a recent statement, Medikal revealed that Disturbation 2 is not just a sequel but a reflection of his personal and artistic evolution.

“This album is for everyone who has followed my journey from the streets to the stage. It’s growth, it’s gratitude, and it’s pure energy,” he said.

To celebrate the release, Medikal and his team hosted an exclusive album listening event in Accra, where industry players, fans, and fellow artistes got a first-hand experience of the tracks. The album rollout also includes a series of visual drops and social media activations designed to engage fans across Africa and beyond.

With Disturbation 2 now streaming on all major platforms, Medikal continues to cement his status as a powerhouse in African music  pushing boundaries while staying true to his roots.
