Ghanaian Dancehall Superstar Shatta Wale, in his just-ended record-breaking event, ShattaFest, which saw a patronage of over 600,000, as reported by Sammy Flex, his manager and PR, has renewed his efforts to mentor rising Ghanaian artistes after his fallout with his militants, with whom he made classic hits.

The dancehall artiste during his record-breaking event seized the opportunity to platform and expose fast rising Ghanaian singer Hunnyboy to his audience.

Hunnyboy, an Ablekuma-based singer and fast-rising performing artiste attained the honours of sharing stage on the biggest event of the Ghana music industry this far.

The young artiste has since February 2025 enjoyed massive platforming from the African Dancehall King after he featured on his single Winning. A dancehall song Shatta Wale benevolently reached out to feature on.

Born Edward Tagoe, but trading in showbiz circles as Hunnyboy, the young musician blends and curates his life experiences into Rhytmns. Unlike the militants who were signed unto Shatta Movement records, Hunny Boy partners with his label Beecons Live Entertainment. He has pathed a craft line of musing authentic Ghanaian highlife sounds and traditional genres with the modern waves of Afrobeats and Jamaican dancehall testament to the realease of his two song project Trust The Process & Mercy.

Trust the Process Since it’s release has seen massive acceptance by a fair group of music audiences and inked its name on certain music charts. This prompted an editorial from Sammy Flex, congratulating him for following up on the gains of his affiliation with Shatta Wale.
