Stop acting as Daddy Lumba’s manager – Family to Roman Fada

Stop Carrying Yourself as Daddy Lumba’s Manager – Family Warns Roman Fada

The family of the late Ghanaian music legend, Charles Kojo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba has issued a stern warning to Philip Kwabena Agyeman Appiah-Kubi, also known as Roman Fada, cautioning him to desist from making false claims and spreading misinformation regarding the funeral arrangements of the late musician.

In a press release dated November 6, 2025, the family expressed deep concern over what it described as misleading and unauthorised actions by Mr. Appiah-Kubi.

According to the statement, Roman Fada has been circulating funeral invitations containing incorrect dates and details, despite the fact that the family is still in private discussions aimed at finalizing arrangements for a dignified burial for the late icon.

The statement further clarified that Roman Fada has no legal, moral, or traditional authority to speak or act on behalf of the Fosuh family. It revealed that his supposed role as “manager” of Daddy Lumba had been officially terminated by the late musician before his passing—something the family insists Mr. Appiah-Kubi is fully aware of.

“These actions are unauthorised and constitute interference in sensitive family matters,” the statement said. “Such behaviour undermines the spirit of trust, respect, and cooperation that the family is trying to maintain during this period of mourning.”

The family therefore directed Mr. Appiah-Kubi to cease and desist from making any public statements, issuing funeral information, or distributing any invitations or materials related to Daddy Lumba’s funeral. The statement warned that any further misrepresentation would compel the family to pursue legal action.

The family also urged fans, the general public, and media houses to **disregard any information not released directly by the Fosuh Family or its officially appointed representatives.

In closing, the family reaffirmed its commitment to honoring Daddy Lumba’s memory with unity and respect.

“The family is working in good faith to ensure that the funeral of our beloved Charles Kwadwo Fosuh (Daddy Lumba) is conducted with the dignity, respect, and love he deserves,” the statement concluded. “We will not allow misinformation, opportunism, or unauthorised individuals to disrupt this process.”

The statement was signed by Mrs. Akosua Serwah Fosuh, widow of the late musician, and Ms. Ernestina Brempomaa Fosuh, his sister, on behalf of the Fosuh Family.
