Channel One TV/ Citi FM journalist, Kennedy Twumasi, has fulfilled a promise to go bald after losing a bet on the 2025 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ).
During a newsroom conversation on Friday, November 7, Kennedy boldly declared that he would shave both his hair and beard if Mfantsipim School won this year’s competition.
“If Mfantsipim wins the NSMQ, I will shave my hair and shave my beard,” he confidently said in front of a camera.
Unfortunately for him, but much to the delight of Mfantsipim supporters, the school clinched the title, forcing Kennedy to stay true to his word. After being held accountable by his peers, he finally went bald to honour the bet.
Although he didn’t go as far as shaving his beard, his colleagues and fans are loving his fresh new look. The Sakora is giving!
