Ghanaian gospel star Diana Hamilton has sparked conversation after revealing in a new interview that she believes she can speak to ghosts.

The award-winning musician made the unexpected statement during a lively appearance on Hitz FM’s morning show with hosts Kwame Dadzie and Doreen Avio on Monday November 17.

Hamilton, known for her powerful worship anthems, surprised listeners when she said  “I’m your classic sanguine… I’m a helpless sanguine,” she said with a laugh.

Explaining further, she added, “I can talk to a ghost unless I don’t want to talk to you.” Her comment left both hosts stunned, prompting Doreen Avio to react with a shocked “Wow.”

Hamilton went on to say her dominant sanguine side — which she estimates at “90 percent” — fuels her creativity and makes her naturally talkative and sociable.

“Sanguines talk. We’re the life of the party,” she noted, linking the trait to her once-considered path in journalism. “I could have done it… if I had taken it seriously.”

Kwame Dadzie and Doreen Avio also highlighted Hamilton’s versatility, pointing to the engaging voiceovers she adds to her social media reels. The singer, amused, replied that she hadn’t listened back to many of them, joking about the similarities between her work and the journalists’ own.

Diana Hamilton’s revelation has sparked curiosity and conversation online, adding an unexpected twist to her public persona. Whether taken literally or as a humorous reflection of her personality, the statement underscores her vibrant, expressive nature — one fans have long seen reflected in her music and media presence.
