Carllo Yaboy is fast emerging as one of the most exciting new voices on the global Afropop scene, representing a powerful blend of Ghanaian heritage and Scandinavian influence.

The Ghanaian-Danish artiste, producer, and songwriter is currently based between London and Copenhagen, where he continues to build an impressive international profile.

Born into music, Carllo Yaboy is the son of legendary Ghanaian keyboardist Kwame Yeboah, renowned for his work with global music icon Craig David.

This rich musical lineage has clearly shaped his artistry, but Carllo has carved out a distinct identity of his own, driven by versatility, authenticity, and boundless energy.

On stage, Carllo Yaboy is widely described as a force of nature. Whether performing solo or backed by a live band, his performances are energetic, warm, and deeply engaging, leaving audiences chanting his signature phrase, “Carllo, we wanna party.”

His ability to connect through rhythm, charisma, and honest storytelling has become a defining feature of his live shows.

In 2025, Carllo Yaboy reached several major milestones, including selling out his first headline concert in Copenhagen.

He also delivered standout performances on his “CARLLO WE WANNA PARTY” summer tour at globally respected platforms such as Roskilde Festival, SXSW London, and SPOT Festival. His rising profile was further cemented by appearances on national television in Denmark, including Good Morning Denmark, signalling his growing mainstream recognition.

Musically Carllo Yaboy’s recent releases “Force Me to Make You Cry,” “Die for You,” and “Dance (Ayajo)”  highlight his impressive range.

From emotional, heartfelt narratives to bold, dancefloor-ready anthems, his sound effortlessly crosses genres and borders. He blends afrobeats, amapiano, R&B, and Scandinavian pop into a distinctive global sound rich in groove, emotion, and storytelling.

A multi-instrumentalist, Carllo Yaboy writes, produces, and records the majority of his music himself, drawing inspiration from his personal experiences and multicultural upbringing.

Beyond his solo career, he also works as a musical director and collaborator for both Danish and international artistes, while remaining deeply committed to building creative communities and uniting people through music.

As his international momentum continues to build, Ghanaian fans can look forward to experiencing Carllo Yaboy live, as he prepares for a special performance at Zen Gardens in Ghana on December 20.

The show is expected to mark a homecoming moment for the rising star and further connect his global sound with his Ghanaian roots.

With industry peers already tipping him for superstardom, Carllo Yaboy’s trajectory suggests this is only the beginning.

As many have said, “He is destined to become a superstar” a sentiment that continues to gain momentum as his global journey unfolds.
